Should I Buy It? ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application Should I Buy It? (the "App"), including the Android version distributed on Google Play (package name com.shouldIbuyit).

Information We Collect

Data You Provide

The App is a personal finance helper. You may enter goals, earned amounts, spent amounts, currency choices, and related notes. You may also import or export your data using spreadsheet files when the Full version feature is available on your device. This information is processed and stored on your device as described below. We do not operate our own backend servers to store your budget or journal entries.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically or by third-party services integrated into the App, including:

• Device information: Device identifiers, operating system version, and device type (for example through advertising or billing SDKs).
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with the App, including through analytics or advertising partners as described below.
• Network requests: The App may request exchange-rate data over the internet to convert and display amounts. Those requests are handled by the third-party rate provider and standard network infrastructure.
• Advertising data: Information collected by third-party advertising services when ads are shown (see Google AdMob below).

How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App's functionality (calculations, goals, suggestions, import/export where enabled).
• To display advertisements in the free Android build (until you purchase the Full version, which removes the banner ad).
• To process in-app purchases through Google Play.
• To improve stability and user experience.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

On Android, the free version of the App may use Google AdMob to show banner advertisements. AdMob may collect and use information about your device and app usage to deliver and measure ads. For more information, see Google's privacy policy: Google Privacy Policy.

You can limit ad personalization using your device's advertising settings. Purchasing the Full version in-app removes the in-app banner advertising experience as implemented in the App.

Google Play Billing

Purchases (such as the Full version) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google collects payment and transaction-related data according to its policies. See: Google Privacy Policy.

Exchange rates and external content

To show amounts in different currencies, the App may request current exchange-rate information from a public exchange-rate API over HTTPS. That provider receives standard request metadata (such as IP address) as part of a normal web request. Product suggestions in the App may link to third-party retailers or informational pages; if you open those links, you leave the App and those sites' own privacy policies apply.

Data storage and security

Your financial entries and preferences are stored locally on your device (for example in on-device storage and/or browser-like storage used by the App). On Android, backup copies may be written to app-accessible document storage on your device as part of auto-save. Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored data depending on your device and system behavior; keep your own exports if you need a long-term copy.

We encourage you to use device security (screen lock, updated OS) to protect sensitive personal information you choose to enter in the App.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be processed by:

• Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play services): as required to show ads (where applicable), complete purchases, and operate the distribution platform.
• Exchange-rate and content providers: when you use features that contact the network as described above.

These providers use data under their own policies and agreements with you or your device manufacturer / platform operator.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding personal data. In general you can:

• Access and change the data you store inside the App on your device.
• Delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App (subject to your device's behavior).
• Adjust personalized ads through your Android Google settings where available.
• Remove banner ads by purchasing the Full version as offered in the App.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, please contact us using the details below.
